(After the old windshield was removed but before the new one was put in)
(After the new windshield was put in)
I found a black spoiler off a 2002 Legacy GT so I snagged it for $19 at the junkyard and brought it home. Once I realized I have no idea where to drill holes in my hatch to install it, I went back to the junkyard to measure the position of the holes. Drilled them correctly the first time and the installation went well.
And I got my tax return on Wednesday so I got a new windshield installed this morning. Apparently the old windshield was also aftermarket (Pilkington) and whoever installed it botched it such that the windshield wasn't actually adhered to the car. So if I was in an accident, the windshield would have just fallen out. The new windshield is a PGW and it looks great.
Next on the list of repairs is sway bar bushings and then new rotors and pads.

Just checked it out. That's a wicked nice truck, but it's not mine. I sure wish mine looked like it though!
Mine looks like this:

Deets on this one?!
Also, I think your wagon would look really nice on the 3rd Gen Legacy GT "snowflake" wheels.

Just read your post about the RallyX club. That sounds awesome, do you know if they have meetings?

189,600 miles, failing clearcoat, exhaust screeches above 4500rpm, warped rotor(s), some mild hail damage, torn driver's seat. Other than that she's perfect. I get 28mpg highway and 23 city. It's a 2.5 liter NA flat 4 with a 5 speed manual transmission. The repairs I've done to date include a new front drivers side wheel bearing, new windshield, new tires (Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Pluses), new sun visors, new dash lights, new passenger side fog light fixture, alignment.

Nice! As long as you keep it oiled I'm sure she'll give you another 100k miles easily. Have you had any headgasket issues or were those replaces long ago?

Those were replaced 10k miles ago, before I bought the car. Also the clutch was done about 30k miles ago. And the battery and alternator were done just under 2 years ago. No leaks at all in my engine bay
