I hate that man, A racist, backwards man who is anti progressive yet tries to win over the ignorant vote by pretending to be something different when he is in fact the same as all the dodgy politicians. I'm voting Conservative on May 7th despite not being a Tory fan purely because in my constituency it's the best way of keeping his ilk out.

From what American media says in the brief reports they do on Europe, I'd say that Britain needs a balanced, pro EU solution. With Putin tackling EU's and NATO's eastern borders, Europe should be more united than ever in order to confront the growing problem of Russian militarism, so you can't vote for isolationists. On the other hand, you can't vote for the far left either, because that will only send businesses to the cheaper states in the eastern EU, and would give Nigel the troll, more reasons to bitch about the barbarians from within.

The Three main parties The Conservative, Labour and the Liberal Democrats are all around the centre, the outlying parties like UKIP, SNP, Plaid Cymru, Sinn Fein and the Green party are more extreme all right wing except for the Green who are Extreme Lefties. due to the unique way in which the UK voting system works I can't just vote for David Cameron.

Also, how could you not vote for this man? Sick burn.

But aren't the liberals more balanced in the given situation? I know Hillary Clinton had nice words for Graham Watson and his ALDE group a few years ago, but not that nice for the ECR. Sure, David Cameron is not batshit crazy, like many of our conservatives, but he is still a conservative, and the conservatives already have a powerful voice in Europe, in Angela Merkel.

Realistically, The Conservatives are conservative in name only, Cameron has always tried to keep hold British interests with regards to the EU and let them sort out their deeper issues themselves, Greece is the thorn in the Merkel's side at the moment. I do think that Cameron's term so far has been defined by the fact that in order to have a large enough majority to get into power he had to form a coalition with the liberal democrats and that it has definitely influenced policy.
It's gone well so far, the UK is the fastest growing advanced economy worldwide (US expected to take over again this year). Since the coalition came in I pay less tax and I can't really complain about other policies. At the last election I voted Liberal Democrat and this time it'll be Conservative they seem to have not fucked up too badly, unlike Labour who before losing office in 2010 royally screwed up the economy.

Wow, and there I was, thinking that the US Congress is chaotic and loud. But your Parliament looks like a Brooklyn bar, on a Friday night.

Well, apparently Fox News promoted him a few times.
Looks like they will take any nutjob, not only the American ones.
Who said that Fox News doesn't like diversity?

I'm pretty sure that he greatly exaggerates it. From what I hear, without the Eastern Europeans to take the shitty jobs, the British economy would need to import more workforce from places like India, Middle East and North Africa, people with even greater cultural differences, shooting his "multiculturalism failed" stance, right in the foot.
