Yeah, Nissan AND Subaru need to stahp putting the CVT in so many models. I'm ok with it being in econoboxes for the masses and such.

For Nissan, I guess they want you to get an Infiniti if you'd prefer RWD and no CVT. Q50 pricing starts pretty much where Maxima pricing ends.

I'm sure they based it off sales and consolidation factors too.
I didnt realize they (Nissan) stopped putting a conventional transmission in after 2003. I know I felt annoyed driving a Murano with the VQ and CVT combo.
Oh well, at least I have my G35 and los manuel.

Subaru makes a fine CVT if you get their high-torque model.
It's Nissan that's the problem.
