It was his DD/office. All he needs to bust ass 7 days a week was in it. More details after the jump.
It was a 2000 Ford F-250 crew cab 4x2 7.3 Power Stroke. Similar to the one above but with the early model amber headlights, OEM running board, and a Husky Aluminum tool box. We are all enthusiasts here, so you have to believe me when I tell you that he loved that truck more than anyone of us here on OPPO loves their ride. Hand to heart that engine was the cleanest one out there. 0 leaks and all wear components on the entire drive line are very well maintained since new.
Purchased new in 2000, my dad has always had the most care for the vehicle he needed to support us. He has worked in the commercial A/C business here in the most A/C’d city in the US since 1974. Busting his ass doing real fucking work throughout the hot and humid Texas Gulf Coast. His first truck was a 1977 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe single cab. That truck was legend and my dad took it over 500k easy before he gave it to my uncle in 1990. Afterwards, he purchased a 1990 Chevrolet Cheyenne I6. That truck was also extremely well maintained by him well over the 500K mark until he gave it to another uncle.
In 2000, he bought this truck new (first new vehicle purchase). Again, this was his office and work horse. The entire drive line was always priority number one for that very reason. That 7.3 Power Stroke is the best engine I have ever came across in my 13 years of tuning wrenches professionally and my dad adored it. We’ve looked at new trucks in the last 8 years or so and my dad liked NOTHING about them. He knows nothing made in the last 3 years will give him the loyalty that anything he has owned will, not even close.
For anyone in the Houston area, keep an eye out for a 2000 Ford F-250 crew cab 7.3L 4x2 in white with a aluminum Huskey toolbox in the bed. Yes, I did describe probably one of the most common vehicles in Houston lol. Some distinctions are that the top plastic trim on the tailgate is missing along with a dinged up rear bumper. The wheels caps are also missing and the bed has factory “Power Stoke” decals on each side near the tail lights. Speaking of, near the 3rd brake light, it is a little dinged up (ladders) and the light actually works (rare) lol. Besides that, I guess the only other thing I could say is that this truck is 100% OEM on OEM 16.5 wheels. This was my dad’s work horse/ office/ and pride and joy. A buuunch of very important blueprints, invoices, materials, and tools were in it. His baby has over 600,000 miles and running smooth as eggs and completely well maintained down to the brand new BFG Commercial tires.
Long live the poor man’s work truck!!!!
Oh, and to the absolute scum or group of worthless little shits that did this, I curse you with years upon years of the most painful genital STD’s and eternal diarrhea... the fiery kind!

Should prove relatively easy to find, what with it not being a bro-truck. Best of luck to the PD officers who may aid in finding the thieves. If you were in TN we might talk off-line and get in touch with some people who do some things to recover stolen properties.

[long string of expletives] I'd say how I'd feel about these shit stains, but I would most likely be pushing the limits of acceptable language. I feel for you and your family ULY.

I have a friend with a 4x4 250 7.3 shortcab, and if we can just get its neglect issues sorted out it'll be amazing. I can only imagine what a really cherry 250 of that gen is like.

oh for sure. In Sinaloa or Michoacan witnessing the mass beheading and dismemberment of live women and children. Damn cartels. They are straight up worse than ISIS and right down the street.

dayum!!! lol :]
![]() 04/02/2015 at 11:18 |

dude, you are so damn right on this. For some reason the powers that be and the media keep us out of the loop on this because it is so close. Too easy to fight a war that isnt within spitting distance I guess, when fighting the cartels would actually benefit Americans much more.

Nobody talks about why these cartels exists and where these drugs are exactly going. I promise you that less than 25% of these drugs stay in "the hood". Rich and wealthy Americans don't want to think about where their awesome scores come from. Supply and demand. Americans demand it and pay very well. But shhhh, that would be some respected groups of people look bad.
I've had 2 family members and know of many of our friend's relatives that have been killed by cartels. I've seen the bodies and body parts of women and children on the street. I've smelled the dead. All so we can get high in America. Super lame :'( Witnessing a big pile of heads in the middle of a park messes with you man. Some things I just wish I never should of seen :'(

All over some pointless waste of time like drugs.

I couldn't "like" this, but I agree with you so much on this it isnt even funny. Terrible stuff going on down there. Makes ISIS/ISIL look like a bunch of do-gooders. The war on drugs in this country is very misfocused.
Right in our goddamn back yard
