Bah, get a PROPER Ford big-block . 11 liters of all-aluminum, 32 valve, DOHC, 60-degree V8 engine produced by the Ford Motor Company during World War II. It featured twin Stromberg NA-Y5-G carburetors, dual magnetos and twin spark plugs ignition system, and crossflow induction.

I just did some research, and it kind of looks like the first Marmon engine bought would be the most expensive, because it should be possible to duplicate the block and everything else (reasonably accurately) for less than that. Maybe.
