Yeah. But it's a chance to look at pictures of a CLK-GTR again, so it's fine by me.

I too enjoy backflipping cars. Beats the fugly SLR McLaren any day.

If I remember correctly, this car has the special AMG Sport Package (yes, I know) that bumps up the horsepower to over 700. It's literally a 1 0f 1 in the world. There's only 5 roadsters, and this is the only one with that package. Also tweaks the suspension I think.

I think there's also a red one in California or something. Also a convertible. Not sure if there are any hardtops in the US, but how many of these are there anyway?

I'm sure NHTSA will arrange to have the car crushed soon.
It's obviously less safe than cars designed for American roads... like the Model T.

I'm not sure. Maybe the market is indicating that it's overpriced.

I hope they are satisfied with their purchase.

http://www.examiner.com/article/for-sa… as mentioned this car was for sale for a long time guess this is why looks like it was pretty banged up but so rare it was worth fixing for somebody. I think it's also not road legal in the states but I could be wrong.
