The paint on the headlights is all kinds of retarded, but besides that I love it. Lifted kits for 1st and second gens are actually pretty common

But of coarse there is also the old Wagovan

The 4wd system in the 1st Gen was pretty good, is basically jeep Quadra drive but front to back instead of side to side. Not as good as a true center locker but darn close
