How rare is this, a Range Rover County LWB, here in the U.S.? This example did show its age, but was awesome nonetheless.

I think they sold this for a year here before they did the model changeover. Ah, the Eighties.

This one's a '93

Ah, the early Nineties.

Do you mean that generation of range rover or that trim level specifically?

The County LWB specifically. Can't remember the last time I saw one.

92-95 only I think. I've seen and worked on tons of them, so not too rare I don't think. Getting to be more rare as many have gone to the crusher by now I'm sure.

I remember riding along with dad on a test drive in an LSE, as these things were badged in Australia. Never knew they were sold in the US.

my doctor has a '95 in BRG.

They sold them from '92 to '95 in the US, but by that point, the RR Classic was a bit past its prime, so you probably won't see too many around.

Yep - those Nineties.

I want a two door with an Isuzu diesel swap. My dream. I have a diesel Merc, a 240z and that next to them would complete my trifecta.

Classy doc.

Ah the 2.8L 4jb1t. I would gladly take that over the 200/300tdi.

I saw a UK site that has the engine mounts etc. so its pretty easy to do. The guy who works on my Z can do anything, he just did a Vanagon Subaru swap, if I could afford a Synchro (have you seen what people pay!??) I might do that. But this thing makes me weak in the knees:

What about that but instead of yellow it's white, and instead of a diesel it has a 350 SBC?

Yeah, an LS would be good but I just like the diesels rattling away in a truck. I have the Z for speed. I'm not sure about the yellow. I should have posted this color, but I like how the yellow one is equipped. I would put a papa smurf sticker on it.

A friend of mine actually has what I was describing. Not LS, old iron block 350. Don't know how much power it makes but it hauls balls and has that classic muscle car lopey idle rumble. Also, it can't be stopped off road.
That blue one looks great. And those wing mirrors!

I believe that blue one is Range Rover #1.
