This proposal was made by my neighbor who gave me my first car(Sadie the W123). I had sold Sadie back to him to eventually fund my current car. His wife really wants him to get rid of the car because its just sits in the driveway. So earlier today he suggested we sell the car, he gets the money he bought the car back with, and then whatever is leftover we split evenly. I don't really know why he feels he has to split the money with me. I don't have anything to lose though, but I told him we would have to wait til the summer once I'm home from school. At one point I thought about buying the car back after college. But for now buying a Fiesta ST and really putting some serious work into my NA sounds like the best plan.

You should buy this back instead of going for the ST. Still have a second vehicle and then even more funds to modify the Miata.

A part of me does still want to have her back. However I also don't want to put either one of those cars through winter driving duty. And its not my right to ask him to hold onto it for 2 more years because I can't buy it back now. Plus his wife would hate me, and I like my neighbors haha

It needs a new transmission pan because it leaks badly. But it was a reliable DD while I had it, except when it got cold haha. I didn't want to buy a block heater because by that point I knew I was parting ways with it.

The transmission pan you could do - I had a block heater put on at the dealership, but I understand it's not rocket science. That and a set of good winter tires, and you're set.

Not that I have an opinion about this ....

$2000 bare minimum but hopefully more. I think the car is worth more at least.

I love my W123, buy it back!! It will outlive that ST ten fold.
