HALP! (what car was it???)

I saw a car yesterday on my commute home, and I can't figure out what it was. It was similar to a Jeep Wrangler and quite old (looked maybe 60's or older???). It was sand colored, and 2 doors. The headlight area seemed to come out a foot forward from the center section of the front end where the grill was.

Any idea what it was? I think he even had a snorkel on it. It looked goddamn awesome.

EDIT*** It was a Land Rover Series 3! Thanks guys!
