Actually... Scion tC is about as close to a 3-door Corolla as you can get... welcome to the true successor of the Corolla econo-coupe...

FT86 project should have been the FW41 4th generation MR2... "project cayman junior" with the subaru flat 4 and subaru-derived 2WD transaxle behind the driver... with some trunk space and some style that W30 MR2 Spyder lacked.
