Still waking up in the high 20s and low 30s. The highs for the days are approaching 50s, but yesterday was miserable, I was going to go out after the show, but ended up just being a mall rat after taking a nap on my girlfriends couch for a couple hours, only to go back and fall asleep on the couch again.

I have friends that work there, and it's social interaction that my girlfriend can handle, and she can visit some of her friends there. It's good neutral ground for us. There's also food, which is always nice.

Well, it makes the lady happy. We don't usually buy much of anything, and tend to keep ourselves to sale racks, but whatever gets her out of the house and makes her happy. I wanted to go on an adventure by the Hudson, but it was just too damn cold.

Right on. I can't wait for the warm weather although for us...the cold has passed. If it's above 0F it is not really the type of cold that stops us from things. That is more like -17F.

Hm, 4k....I can't really do anything about the existing photos for 4k, but I can certainly shoot some 4k stuff moving ahead. Takes a lot more work, but I can certainly try to push a little bit of it. 3840x2160 is doable, for sure. I'll keep it in mind.

Wow, thanks! I love the Isetta but totally didn't recognize it from that angle. The asymmetry of the open door should have been a giveaway. :-)

Seriously though, the modern era Maccas are my real life dream cars. My wife even says, you will not get a Porsche, nor will you get any other fast/expensive car until you save up for and buy a McLaren.

But I may end up getting a Focus RS next year as a DD, so we can resign the Landie to Overlanding duties only.

Having my Magnum and SL600 has put me into a position in life where I'm, in a sense, done with searching. Are there cars are I really want to own one day? Absolutely. 300SL Gullwing. I don't even need to think about that question. If it has to be something more modern, Pagani Zonda. But as far as buying a supercar at this point, there's one answer alone. P1. White with black accents, and it will be for my other half. She is simply in love with it, which is a big step up because she is getting better at recognizing cars having watched a lot of Top Gear with me. I got her to watch Senna, we'll watch Rush at some point as well. She has her specific interests, but knows where our common ground is, and can point things out to me when we're driving around together.

The good news for you though is that McLaren MP4-12C's are depreciating significantly. If you're kosher with pre-owned, used or "a couple years old," then don't kid yourself, it's definitely a possibility for you. Even a new one is possible, but it would take a lot longer. Never tell yourself you can't.

Looks like him! I don't think I've ever really spoken to him though. Cool to see another Petrolicious video about someone who goes to my local C&C (Phil with the Stratos also attends from time to time).
