Especially since contrary to what everyone had assumed, Tymon did not go running to the bosses, Clarkson "self-reported." The guy is really in a tough spot—millions of fans blaming him, and if his right not to be abused is upheld through Clarkson's firing, he loses his job. He's in a lose-lose situation. The only way it works out is if the show continues, he gets an apology from J.C. and J.C. gives him a new Mercedes for his trouble.
