I had a co-worker who bought a watch that looked sort of like that. He ended up hating it because the hands of the clock weren't immediately visible, meaning it took more time to check the time. Not a great thing, especially if you are trying to keep your eyes on the road.

Although, perhaps the perfect thing for a bored female passenger to stare at, while her overly wealthy suitor attempts to woo her with an expensive automobile.
