Suffice to say, Ryan Gates built some badass Mitsubishi's and 311RS continues that today.

Maybe they park all the cars in those !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! looking things? How does it differ from the substantially upgraded 311RS? Well it's lighter thanks to new components like a carbon fiber hood and it's more powerful too. A lot more powerful. How does 500 horsepower at the wheels for $55K strike you? Yeah, I like it too. I may have to go take these teaser shots into a dark room for a few minutes. Oh sweet red top. Oh…didn't notice those plaid seats…and done. I'll give you a minute to peruse the pics while I go clean up.

We look forward to seeing the Spec Blew in a few weeks. In the meantime, perhaps these 311RS people are our kind of crazy and a trip to the Twin Cities for a test drive is in order. I'll tweeter at them and see what they think.

$55,000 is a lot of scratch to feel like I step in to the Fast + Furious every day. So is it still a shitbox on the inside? Do I get column mounted gauges at least?
