The GTA Online Heists update is here. It's probably the biggest update so far. There's some new vehicles, a bunch of little new details like iOS 7-style text messages and see-through garage doors. I haven't even played any heists yet, because who cares when you can get ANY WHEEL ON ANY CAR IN CHROME!!!!! It's expensive to do, I think these chrome Krackas on the Sabre Turbo were something like $80,000. But, who cares. Why wasn't this always in the game????

Oh how I wish I had the time and money to buy GTA V. If my friends and I ever wanted to have fun gaming together, we'd probably pick this game, hands down.

You're on current gen, right? I need a heist partner for 360 so I can get the new Lancer... :(
Also, those first wheels are the stock Coquette ones. I had so many people asking me how I got chrome wheels, and it was hilarious that they never thought of the possibility of just not changing the rims. I guess that's over with now, though...

Yep, I'm on PS4.
That's hilarious. Those are the same design as the default ones on the Coquette, but of course they were painted when installed as a custom wheel on any other vehicle. I did the same thing when I had a Coquette, kept the wheels stock. My Surfer and Felon even still have their stock chrome wheels, as I still prefer their design.

Last night, after putting chrome rims on everything, I did the first heist set-up. I got perhaps half-way through before losing a connection with the other player. Back in freeroam for about an hour, and I kept having connection issues. Have you ever been in a well-populated room, and every player but you suddenly leaves the room simultaneously? I kept having that.
Hopefully it'll be more stable today, but I wouldn't be surprised if the servers are slammed.

I remember on the 360 when online was released it was impossible to get on. I can imagine the servers are being slammed right now.

Yeah, I remember than on PS3 as well as when it the game was released on current-gen. This is what I'm greeted with today :( It's kinda misleading, as I've already downloaded and installed the update.

I am! And I have a mic. Add me, lone__stranger (that's with two underscores).
I've hardly played any of the final two heists, but I'm pretty experienced in the first three heists. I've played Fleeca, Prison Break, & Humane Labs and their setups, most of them I've played multiple times in different roles. The next one I have to host myself is the Humane Labs setup "Deliver EMP".
