Four Hours Later:
I owe thanks to the wonderful state of New York for their incredibly terrible well paved roads, especially I-95.
Honestly though, it should be a wake up call to the state when 4 cars and 2 18-Wheelers are stopped nearly at the same place on the side of the highway with flats.
I called 1-800-POT-HOLE to report the strip of highway (the merge ramp on 287 from Rye, NY to I-95 N) that demolished over 7 tires today and the number was disconnected.
There goes another $200...

Jeez, here in the DC area, potholes stay the same. Yeah, fill it up with loose gravel. That'll help.
I think I drove through the grand canyon the other day. Luckily, I've got cheap wheels.

I always wait till may for this exact reason. And I have wheels for every season. so soon my winters come off and my spring wheels go on, in june I throw on the summer rubber, by then the roads are in a much better condition.

Find out how to be reimbursed by the state. Few claims get paid, but you certainly send a message when you file the paperwork.

Oh I'd be freaking raging.
On the other hand, at least it appears to be holding air and didn't strand you in NY.

I have the 18's. I think the wheel is fine - luckily it's just the tire that keeps taking the blow.
