I really, really, really want more expansion packs... I'll love you forever if you send me yours so I can install them, and then I'll keep the last one (since I'll need it to play at all) and give you my copy of Late Night in exchange. And all of the others, of course. And you would get to pick which one I keep. I also have High End Loft Stuff, if you'd want that instead of Late Night, or I could include both and keep two of yours. Whatever works.

I have most of them one Mac. Won't work on Windows.

Damn, I have it on Windows.
I recently "bought" them all for $30, which, in hindsight, was obviously too good to be true. So now I really don't want to spend money on them again unless I can manage to get a refund.

there's always the the pirate bay.

I'm not sure it would work with Origin, though. For some reason, I need to run my copy through Origin even though I have the physical disk. I imagine an illegitimate copy would cause problems.

You could always use torrent the base game as well, run an entirely pirated setup. You already own a license to the base game anyways. It's a real pain in the ass to install all the expansions though.

Just get the whole game. There's one torrent that has all the expansions set up and configured. If you search "sims 3" it's the 5th result. You can move your save games over and keep everything.

What exactly are you looking for, more content? Because (as I'm sure you know) the modding community is freaking massive and a lot of websites format their downloads in .sims3pack which is literally a one-click install. If you can't find anyone to trade with (I'm using the base game) that might be a good option to check out.

I have a buttload of modded cars, but I just like the official content more. There's a lot of modding, sure, but it's mostly for things to have and not things to do.

Hmmmm, sounds interesting. I may just have to do that, then.

Right on, the mods are more set up for people (like me) who just build houses and never play as the families so I can totally get where you're coming from.

Got 3 and all its bit. Modded it to death, now it no longer starts.

Yeah, I like to play without cheats, start with a single Sim, and try to play for several generations. It's fun to build houses, too, but I love the social aspect of everything.

You have a lot better attention span than I do lol. I just download a huge, already-made family and set familyfunds to like $100,000,000 and built them batshit crazy huge houses that take months to fully finish. Only problem with that is you end up building houses so big that you just want to be done with them and move on. My two current houses right now:

I no longer play and can find my expansion packs and give you the codes if you would like. No sendy anything though.

Does it work with just the codes, though?

Had the same problem; ymmv but I ended up downloading a .package file that deleted the intro video, and now have to open the game by going through the program files and opening a windowed version:
I have over 1000 mod files and it seems to work fine. Could also try deleting your mod files one by one starting with the newest; from my experience it seems like only one file causes the problems.
