Even tho she's (Becky) gone I still miss her. In perfect condition minus few dents , she was running perfect. Need me another wagon.
Miss the drive way looking like this. only my brothers b5.5 left. (Photo kinjad)
Now they don't have anything to worship

I do love me some B5 Wagon. If only the 1.8t, wagon, manual and 4Motion came together in the early years. Just not a fan of the droopy B5.5 headlights.

She's in Volkswagen heaven now.
Is your recovery going as planned?
I suggest you get a B5 A4 Avant.

When I saw the headline and the pick of the b5 Passat, I really was hoping you'd go DeMuro on the veedub.
I owned a B5.5 Passat v6 wagon and it was the biggest steaming pile of crap I ever had. Thing left me stranded in the desert half a dozen times. Sound system was pretty good, though.

recovery is great. I'll be fully healed by the end of April and walking on my own. No pain at all just the annoying brace on my leg

Actually I usually would have had my fair share of vw/audi problems. But this passat was perfect. I was lucky. Only had 115k miles when I picked it up and had it only for a year sadly but it gave me no problems at all. Just changed axles and power steering fluid. It literally "ran like a champ" that's why it's sad it's gone. It was in mint condition for its age.

And I owned a 2000 b5 2.8 sedan but i didn't have the best luck with it. For my budget I'm most likely getting another passat. I need something that they have a lot of at the local pick-a-part. And b5 audis are rare as there are a lot of passats, Jettas, and beetles (for some reason)

Ah, at least you'll be staying with a Passat! There's not that many 4motion models with manual transmission though, that's the only thing that's kept me personally away from them for the most part. I'd gladly take a W8 though.

Actually found a b5.5 1.8t 4motion stick sedan on my local Craigslist and it looked good. But I can't even walk let alone drive. So I can just stare. I would take a w8 wagon any day if I had a good 20g to bring it back to mint condition. I don't mind fwd, I live in socal so it doesn't bother me. Plus it's easier getting coil overs for a non 4mo.

Not bad! The W8 is a bit errrrr....very expensive to maintain though. I've seen some go for under $5,000 on Craigslist in my area though. AWD isn't absolutely necessary in my area, but it's more of a personal preference when the driving conditions aren't the greatest.

I've seen some around 5k also And mostly wagons. But I don't want to deal with all that maintenence. And Idk what bad driving conditions are haha. People get so scared when it rains here.haha but I was born in Hungary so I got driving in the worst situations in my blood.

Haha, we get snow and all that good stuff. It's always nice to have Quattro, plus what's an A4 without it? Still an A4, haha.
