I found this sweet rig on my local classifieds for $950.00 bucks with a 6.5hp and studded mini tractor tires. made with a real racing kart chassis. This thing would be a fucking blast! Just don't get caught in the tires.

Could do pretty well. Most slant-style single cyls hold up very nicely - given that I can't quite tell if this is a Honda GX (looks like it is), I can't say much more, but if it is (with some badging), it's a truly excellent engine. I've known ones in rental use with many hundreds upon hundreds of hours.

that'd be a pretty cheap winter commuter alternative. you wouldnt need a whole garage to store it all summer, and you wouldnt feel like you're maintaining a fleet of cars. just "oh look, it snowed last night" then whip out the kart

It looks like a GX-inspired design, but methinks it's a generic chinese copy... the crank cover and the rest of the plastic cladding looks off.

But if that's the case, it would be pretty easy to fit a real Honda in there... something badass, like the GX390.

The fuel tank looked dead on, and I have seen rebranded/redecorated Hondas before, so I'll have to stay uncertain. The fuel/choke lever support box may or may not be a match.

Might even be a GC with a different crank cover, but those stickers are throwing me off. I think GX never had plastic tank, but GC did...

Choke/fuel lever support looks genuine, as does the air filter.

reverse image hasn't turned up anything relevant yet.

if it is indeed a GC, I would suggest running away from this kart.
