The bee here has sunglasses because he's actually an old jazz musician and responsible for the scat sound effects issuing from the tailpipes. "Be bop be bop be bop bibbity bibbity bibbity ba..." I think. Either he's making the sounds, or some serious timing issues are. Actually, now I want to see an old scat musician effectively beatboxing motor noises.

I can see a Charger! And it's a green one. I really love those.

Chargers are great but I'm more partial to the '68 Coronet myself. I hope I someday have an R/T variant with '69 front end conversion.

Well you are lucky. Coronets are still fairly cheap. I tried to find to find a nice cheap '69 Charger but I had to skip the nice...

Genuine R/Ts and Super bees cost a pretty penny though. I hope the prices don't start climbing too much in the future.

BTW how's the Packard project going?

Most R/T Dodges seem to be a bit pricey currently. But if you like to (or at least can) weld there are still quite good projects for sale very cheaply. Nearly any sheet metal part is available for B-bodies so even quite bad ones can be revived.

I recently bought a garage (with a house) so now I can get my front suspension rebuilt. The upper kingpin pivot joints are really busted and the driving feels more than slightly uncomfortable until I have sorted that out.

Then there are the transmission issues but I still drive it with if I'll avoid using the second gear.
