Take a Cruze, add the engine and transmission from the turbo Buick Regal, stiffen the suspension, slap on a body kit and some larger wheels with sticky low-profile tires. And now you've got a Cruze SS.

My guess is we should have a Cruze SS by 2020. It will consist of a re-calibrated ECU boosting power from 138HP to 145HP, 19" wheels, recaro seats, and "performance badging."

The fact that GM offered the 2.0T with a six speed manual in the Buick Verano for almost 30k, but not at all in the Cruze SS/Z24/Redline/VXR whatever you wish to call it, is inexcusable.

Mine is a black RS as well, and you're right, it's a nice looking car. I blacked out my Bowties. The amount of chrome on it doesn't bother me. I wish it were less, but not bad enough to do anything about it.
