Dinan only exists to make BMW Performance parts seem cheaper in comparison.
Not that I'd turn my nose up at the Dinan 1M pictured above.

False. BMW Performance exists to make Dinan parts seem cheaper by comparison. Example, a $900 intake from BMW Performance vs. a $300 intake from Dinan (E46).

A $900 intake is ridiculous no matter how you slice it.

Always thought it was funny they raced the 128i in the World Challenge but made no performance parts for it aside suspension. I would like a NA 128i with cams and some head work to make like a modern E36 M3.

I mean, I'm not going to disagree with you at all.

a stage 2 tune for my 550i is 3k I wouldn't say they're cheap, but I can see your point.

Can't argue with that. As the last NA straight six they sold, I bet more aftermarket stuff will come around for it eventually.

You know Dinan's leaving to work for Ganassi's development team for the new GT LeMans campaign, right?
