"Ben, I'm concerned. Are you off the wagon?" No, concerned reader, my sobriety is still going strong, and no, I didn't sustain a rather large head injury. Don't worry, I still hate VW and German cars in general, but I've made an exception for this one because, well....have a look for yourself:
Yes, that is a Cadillac V8 powered 5 door golf Mk. II, and yes, the V8 in question IS a Northstar. And while I can vouch for my sobriety, I can't do the same for whoever decided to create the greatest American occupation of Germany since the late '40s.

Cadillac V8, mock-wire alloys - all good, really, definitely see why this is RollandBait.

I like this as well because it's riced to hell, yet is actually fast. Nobody would expect it! It's like a reverse sleeper sleeper.

Congratulations to them for finding an even worse application to try and change the belt on a Northstar V8 in it.

Sneaky. So sneaky. It's like if you built a donk that ran low 12s.

I came here to say "gott verdammt!" but yeah. Why a northstar though I wonder? It must have been supremely easy to swap in compared to other V8s because otherwise, meh.

The North Star always points in the same direction. This solves the problem of torquesteer.
