A running 320 hp Mustang Cobra V8 powered, manual RWD roadster with 85,000 miles, an engine with only 40,00 miles, and a refreshed suspension for $15k? Screw Miatas, get me one of these! Somebody got really lucky.

Seriously though, high schoolers drive more expensive cars than this, and it has a domestic power plant that I'm sure is fairly easy to maintain. If it weren't BaT I almost wouldn't believe this. Is there something terribly wrong with these that I don't know?

Plus, it has a lot of the appearance quality of the Miata without the hairdresser stereotype. Which, then, I suppose anyone ignorant enough to associate that stereotype will not be able to recognize this isn't a Miata, so nevermind.

They'd probably think twice if you revved the 4.6L a few times. I'm still shocked at how cheap this sold for.

'99 Spec cobra motor and T45 interesting. The only issue I cam think of is the T-45 shame its not a T3650 in there.T-45s aren't known for their strength but it should be ok as long as you don't power shift it or beat on it.

damn is that all this went for? I saw this auction and totally would have bid if I was in the market. Awesome car. One of a few that my girlfriend looked at and actually said looked good

I was watching this auction too. Every time I got the email in the morning I was expecting it to suddenly shoot up to where I felt it should be. Whoever walked off with this car got what I would consider a phenomenal deal.
