Isn't there something in the commentary about how when Neil Young first appeared on stage they had to cut away momentarily because he had some mysterious white powder on his face?

Also, one of THE BEST concerts EVER! I have a very difficult time choosing between The Last Waltz and Stop Making Sense as my favorite concert films.

I go back and forth between those too, both amazing. I know Van Morrison was so drunk he almost didnt get allowed on stage too, so the Neil thing is totally possible. Gimme Shelter was dark but great, as was Hendrix at Monterey

I read Waging Heavy Peace last year. It rambles quite a bit, and plugs both the Lincvolt and Pono a lot, but it's worth reading for the stories & cars.

nice, I will have to give it a shot. I have read numerous bios on rock and car guys, but this one was never really on my radar. I did read Keith Richards "Life" and highly recommend though. I think that was the last
