If you look really close, you might see the damage. I bet the estimate will still be around two grand, though. Just because.

Honestly, I'm not even that mad. No one was hurt, it'll be fixed, and I just don't have the energy to get worked up about little things like this anymore.

I can't see it...when I got rear ended in my DD Mercury Milan it was about $7-800. Other guys insurance footed the bill, that included a whole new rear bumper cover.

How hard were you hit?

Also we both have tiny blue Fiats. We're basically family now.

No body damage, so it'll probably be around $700 for the other driver's insurance. That's what happened to me. Got resprayed with OEM paint.

Sorry that happened, though.

She was maybe going between 5-10 mph when she hit me. I saw her trying to slam on the brakes in my mirror, but I was stopped at a light with a car in front of me. There was no escape. And hooray for tiny blue Fiats!

To be fair I was pulling out of a junction once and someone cut across me and almost took my front bumper off. Avoiding them distracted me so much once I finished the turn I nearly hit the end of the line of cars in front of me. There can be legitimate reasons for little incidents like this, although I did stop with half a car length to spare.

Indeed, when mine's running I love driving it. I bet that's something many Fiat owners have said in the past...

I doubt it... but just in case, thank god for gap coverage.

Actually if you look really close at the black trim, it's cracked at the top right edge. So I stand by my guess of $2000.

that'll buff right out, he said with a straight face for the first time

had a similar injury to my bumper. lady argued, eventually the insurance companies figured it all out and I pocketed nearly $500 and just buffed it out with a tiny dab of paint to correct.

$1500-$2000 is a fair estimate. New plastic bumper cover + paint.

Whats up with drivers? Yesterday I got stuck behind a Camry on Speer, the old fart stopped at a yellow when he should have gone through, made me slam on my brakes.

Nice.

This was at 1st and Detroit, right in front of the Cherry Creek Mall.

I usually take that route home, but yesterday I thought I'd take a different route. PSA: There is no such thing as a good route south from downtown Denver at rush hour
