took this picture... then passenger started punching the driver then she got out and walked, then came back and got in, then punched him again, then got out, then in, then crying happened
but how 'bout that spare huh... keeping it as a trophy?

perhaps more scary, if they havent recently moved here (colorado) then they are on a road trip with that tyre as their spare. which doesn't look recently shredded, it looks like it got shredded and has been dry rotting on the back of the car for years

We got a flat on one of our visits to Colorado from Nebraska. Needless to say, we didn't drive back on it.

On Saturday I was following a newish Volvo V70 and I witnessed something similar. While the Volvo was waiting in traffic lights it suddenly started shaking pretty wildly. There was some kind of fist fight going on in the front seats.
I was wondering if I should help and honk if they didn't move within 1 second after light is going to go green. But they did very fast start and postponed the fight.

I'm just west of Denver, right at the foothills. This was seen in the Englewood area
We got a flat 10 minutes into a road trip to Oklahoma, you better believe we got a replacement before we continued that journey. Can you imagine sitting on the side of the road on some of the nothing stretches between CO and OK with two flat tyres!?

yeah I was lauhging when I took the picture... then felt instantly guilty. did I start a fight? "you see that mutha behind us thinks the tire is funny too!!! cahnge that tire!!!"

Maybe. But totally busted spare tire is still better than no spare tire at all. At least you can decide which tire you are going to destroy totally if you ran out of air...
