Started a new job last week

They told me to bring something from home to personalize my work space. Of course that gave me an excuse to buy a Hot Wheels Corvette.

I actually wanted a Jeff Gorvette toy from Cars 2 but Target only had Lewis Hamilton when we were there and I didn't really want to spend $4 on an office trinket that could go missing.

New goal is to have a Hot Wheels of every generation of Vette gracing my desk. Started with C1.

I love that Vette' It came from the "cool classic" line from Hot Wheels. Have you ever ventured over to www.liveandletdiecast.kinja.com ? A lot of awesome content over there from like minded small-scale car and truck nuts!

I've seen occasional posts from LALD shared on Oppo. I actually have a pretty kick-ass diecast Corvette collection back home at my parents' house. I have nowhere to keep it in our current living situation but next time I'm back home I'll have to take the opportunity to take some pictures (or transport them back for display at work).

It was like that when I got here. And after living in New Mexico for almost four years, where dust gathers in a matter of hours, I'm not really a neat freak.

I don't generally mind it unless it's on electronics that are black. For some reason that's the time it gets me.
