I had no idea that the M4 could be a $100,000 car. I ticked every single option box, and the total price of this baby is $100,269. That's a bit much, no?

If I'm not mistaken, you can also spec out a Boxster to be that much.

Way too much if you ask me. Even for being fully loaded to the max.
And here come all the "oh but it's a superior German car" sheep to justify the price.

Not as bad as Porsche!
You can probably spec a base C2 to be at least $150K and a Cabrio to be $165K

That is true. Because at Porsche, we believe your options can literally worth as much as your car.

WTF did you click, gold calipers?

Those are actually the M carbon ceramic brakes. I would prefer that they came in a different color, too.

I just can't imagine what drives the price up that high.

It's crazy to think you could get a MSRP hellcat and a S3 together (almost) for that kindmoney. That bastard better do your taxes!

The M4 convertible starts at $76,900. $15k to $20k in options is about typical for a BMW. The carbon ceramic brakes are $9k and not available on non-M models.

Jeeez, no way that car is worth all that. I guess a lot of people don't even consider older cars, they only know a dealership is where they get a car. No new cars for me.

I started building a 911 Carrera coupe earlier just to see how high it would go. I got through half the options list before I quit, and the total was already up to about $160K. There's normal German ridiculously long options lists, and then there's Porsche's German ridiculously long options lists.

OMG! Can't believe it was even higher than my crazy estimate!
I have a 997.2 C2. It's a great car but no C2 is EVER worth 6 figures to me. I've driven the 991 C2 and like it less than the 997.2 C2. And I got mine used. Spending twice what I did is asinine!

The most expensive M3/4. Also the shittiest.
