Great song for any electronic music fans.

And you like Strauss, too. And I like this. My father is a brilliant, classically trained keyboard player: organ, harpsichord, piano. And all he ever listens to is classical music. Back when I was a teen and later in college, smoking dope and listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep, The Police, Buffalo Springfield, The Doors, Steely Dan, and studying classical music at the same time, he told me that one day I would grow out of the rock. He was wrong. If anything, my musical tastes have grown even wider. Thanks for the tune. I dug that.

I haven't heard anything from Coyote Kisses that I disliked. My only complaint is how little they've produced so far.
Thanks for sharing, dude.

No problem! I try to be open to as much music as possible. It's usually just the bad examples of any particular form that I don't really care for, although that's not a hard and fast rule by any means. Glad to know your tastes continue to widen as well, although your initial list there is a more than decent starting point. My sister's father in law is in his mid 70s and still keeps up with all the new music. He pulls up plenty of stuff I've never even heard of before haha.

And that list is by no means comprehensive. As I've aged, I've mellowed a bit. I'm leaning more towards more folk, particularly Irish, such as Kate Rusby and John Doyle. And I'm an absolute sucker for anything by Imogen Heap. Her latest album just makes me stop what I'm doing and listen.

Nice! I remember my first exposure to Imogen Heap was that SNL sketch spoofing the scene from the OC that featured "Hide and Seek"—she's got some good stuff. I'll have to give the new album a listen. I've been on a huge kick listening to Anamanaguchi lately. I don't know if you've heard of them, but they're a band that blends sort of traditional power chord–and–drums rock with a chip tune sound. I think they actually use modified Nintendos and stuff like that to shape their sound. I can't get enough of it these days.

Chip tune? No idea what that means. I'll check it out, though. Thanks for the tip. As for Imogen Heap, I think her latest album, Sparks , is by far her best. I think it's the most mature representation of her sound so far. Although Ellipse was pretty darned good.
