I have some decent vinyl Datsun seats in my Z, the cushioning is kind of sagging and there is a leather kit for these. But there are better seats that are black and look somewhat ok for the style. These seats wouldn't look out of place if you ask me, I'd get some more adjustments and it would caress my hind quarters better, my wife's too. I can always keep the originals. Thoughts? Any, are you fucking crazy!!!?...responses? Anyone had these, is that front edge adjustable? Are they leather? I just saw some of these, didn't know what car they came from, the description told me. The Z seats have horizontal lines too, black with similar seat seam patterns. I think the Recaros would be much better to sit in. They are 1974 BMWs so similar age.

Good, classy look. I'd say yes.

They should look period correct. More caressing of the hind quarters is never a bad thing. Only thing stopping me from putting Elise seats in my NA are a couple hundred spare clams.

I'be thought about these for my Z, but for some reason I feel like they don't totally work even though they're great seats.
Something about them being square and boxy compared to the rest of the car's flowing lines just seems off. They don't entirely fit the character of the car. Maybe it's just me.

Yeah they are 1974, the Z is a 71, not far off. I don't know how much these are generally, I have other things to do but its something to put on the list if I come across anything.

I was going to look at different seats from the era, honestly its so small in the car and everything is black, its hard to see haha. Its not going to happen soon, I have a few more pressing things to do to it.

These are for a Porsche, they are closer I guess. I was looking forward to headrests I could actually adjust though!

Spotted the small image, immediately thought the seats would look cool in my 02. Click, and wouldn't you know . .

I have those, or a non-pleated version of those, in my 2002. Mine are from an E21 320is. The knee bolster pulls out on a track. The side bolsters aren't as good as they look, being fairly squishy, but they were good for their time.

I think the Porsche seats would be a great fit!
