My dad's 1970 Olds 98 could tow a lot more than most trucks for many years.

I know, its a terrible shame. Good thing is they are still cheap as dirt and easy to find in the U.S.

Actually, I take that back. Most cars, even full-sized V8 ones, haven't been BOF since the 70's, and they'd still tow your trailer. That doesn't look heavy.

This load wasn't, I've towed a 4,000 lb boat behind the Merc before though. Shes handled it like a champ. Getting up a slick boat ramp without a LSD was a big tricky however.
