I will admit, the 850CSi, 2002 and Sharknose are the 3 BMWs that will absolutely change my mind and make me want one.

That said, all 3 of them are just slightly out of my price range given my current stable and their maintenance.

This is a good plan but can't sell the chrome wheel'd F430 because my dad won't let me. he stole my $20K that i put towards the down payment and won't let me take it home anymore. at least i don't have to pay half the monthly payments though, lol. and i got to learn first hand why you ONLY buy ferraris with gated shifters. F1 issues suck!

All I'm going to say is that you should treat yourself to one of them at some point in your life. I might come off as biased, but there's no greater connection to a car and the road than when you're in a 2002. The feel, smell, and sound. It gets you. And, it has to be one of the easiest vehicles to work on.

Since the shop that works on the HEMIWagon specializes in BMW, I do get a healthy dose of a very wide array every time I stop by the shop to hang out. Anything from an E30 DD to ///M Coupes with absolutely insane amounts of horsepower. And several E36 track cars. And the couple of 318ix cars they have. Eventually I'll take one for a spin, I don't have anything against BMW, they've just never really felt like the right car for me.

I nearly bought a BMW Wagon this past winter as well, but it was just too much for what it was, and I didn't have any room for another car. If I get the chance at one, and it feels right, I'll certainly give it a try.
