Guaranteed it will cost you more to buy a used 500 and this supercharger than it would to just buy a used Abarth.

Buy a used 500 turbo. They are basically te abarth sold in Europe. Our abarth is the european abarth "esse esse". Then crank the boost on the 500 turbo, or ust put on a bigger turbo, and let the fireballs fly!

Probably. We'll see. I'm still waiting on depreciation to take it's toll. Also, I'm not sure I have it in me to tear up an Abarth the way I am planning to in order to accomplish this.

You wouldn't need to "tear up" an Abarth.

1. The stock Abarth makes more power than this.

2. There's plenty of bolt-on stuff for the Abarth you can add with relatively little fuss. Hell, you can make a bunch of power with just an ECU tune .

3. A used Abarth will depreciate plenty anyway.

sigh, mine too. stupid aussiess. you know that they do make lift kits for the abarth, right? it's not the same as four wheel drive, but they are very lightweight. add a bully bar, lights, liftkit, some offroad wheels, skidplates, fender flares.... or at least that is where my bank accounts tend to dream toward.

I have researched it quite a bit, their website has no info in the last year, like, if they ever finished the kit and put it on sale...I've been watching it since I bought my 500 over a year ago. 500 Madness is also supposedly working on a supercharger kit, but nothing on it in the last year either. I think most folks are just going turbo.
