SUPERCHARGER FOR 44 BUCKS!!!!

What could possibly go wrong? Probably from a 3800.

there's no reason not to buy that and put it on something it blatantly doesn't belong on.

I kinda wanna put one on my ranger, but then again my ranger has plenty of oomph and I'm afraid I may blow it
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:31 |

1 you'll probably blow it.
2 do you have any idea if it would fit?

it isnt very descriptive as to what it really is

The last time I went to one there was a Celica all-trac sitting there, we were about to pull the turbo off (so we could mount it on..something (we had a list of vehicles between a few friends that would of been fun)) but then we noticed the turbo was not only seized but cracked. Sad day

It'll be fine! Do it!
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:33 |

It would definitely fit, there used to be a kit for the 4.0

OK I'm on board.
make it so.

1. Buy Supercharger
2. Find a Yugo GV. (can also be had for around $44)
3. Add Supercharger
4. ????
5. Profit!

Ugh nothings worse than seeing something cool destroyed. The last time I went to LKQ in Aurora I saw a 62 imperial, burned and gutted. That was sad
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:35 |

nah, it would make more sense to V8 swap it
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:36 |
|
step 4 is actually solvable for once.
Step 4: Put on shows (charging admission) doing back flips in an overpowered Yugo
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:36 |

this is a fun way to get the NEED for a V8 swap.
HAha.
I've seen some wild ones, including a 351W. That little truck was a beast.

supercharger and ranger share many letters. It's a sign from Boba Fett you need to do it

I kinda wanna do a fox body 5.0 mated to a T5, it would be a mostly bolt in thing. But my 4.0 has really low miles, so its got some life left in it. I plan on keeping this ranger as long as it will let me, so eventually I may do a swap
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:41 |

Like this?
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:42 |
|
Precisely.
![]() 02/09/2015 at 16:43 |

a 5.0 out of a fox body should be easy enough to find.
Don't forget you can look to trucks as well, the 90's Explorer, Broncos and F150's all used the 5.0 (302W) and the 351W. Also parts typically bolt on between those 2 motors.

I think my truck would have to get to 200k for me to start thinking about engine swapping it. Its only just under 106k right now. But I really am itching for a V8, if only it was currently practical.

A Celica GT-Four in a junkyard? That makes me cry.
![]() 02/09/2015 at 17:52 |

I know it is a VW, but I think this would also be a welcome addition to the over powered Yugo show.

Lol'd at number two.

That makes baby Jesus cry
