500 hp v10 $52,000 new and it has has a bed.

I mean, I can get an M3 in the states. Also I'm pretty sure the engine doesn't have to come out every time a dash light comes on :P

I'd rather have the RS4 which also happens to be a better deal than the M3.

I wouldn't say no to any of those — I just worry about the whole timing chain at the back of the engine deal with the Audis.

Only an issue on B6 S4s. It was corrected by the time they put out the B7. Besides the only thing the Rs4 4.2 shares with the S4 4.2 is the displacement.
