It's Michigan, in the 30s, there's some snow on the ground, and I'm now beginning to question again why my 944 is in the garage... -_-

Oh that's right, my dad is paranoid about cars like these in the snow that he thinks they rust as bad as old Lancias or Fiats. (o_O)

It is in fact the same Turbo I posted and took a picture of in May last year.

So. Much. Want. I <3 the 993. Especially if it has a turbo...

What are your thoughts on the twist wheels?

I saw a 930 (non turbo) being driven in 30 degree rainy weather here once. If I had an older Porsche, you'd bet I'd DD that thing.

The non-turbo 930 is just the 911.

930 + snow/rain = widow maker.

much better way to die than cancer, though.

If it weren't for the fact that I could have a 991 Turbo S for the price of a 993 Turbo(close enough), I'd love one as well.

Universally 90s lol. In spite of that though they do look surprisingly good on most of those cars.

I'm kinda sad how expensive the 993 is... But it's worth every penny. However, you can DD a 991 in all weather...

Ah, I thought the chassis went 911, then 930 in the 80s, and then 964 in the 90s. My bad. Someone here clearly doesn't know his porsches.

No worries. You'd have to be a Porsche nerd to know that. Same with 944 Turbo being the 951 and the 924 Turbo being the 931 despite having the same chassis.

I completely agree, but they aren't anything special. They work on everything, old and new, but aren't really a thing of beauty. Fuchs arent all that pretty either. Both Fuchs and twists are the only wheels that look right on older 911s though. The wheels on modern 911 models, especially the GT2/GT3 are stunning. They wouldn't ever work on anything pre-997 though.
