Don Schumacher Racing is debuting the new 2015 Dodge Charger funny car body this weekend at the NHRA Winter Nationals. The new body was designed to be more competitive but more importantly it was designed not to shatter into a thousand pieces like a gull darned Doritos Locos taco every time the engine back fires.
Well it didn't take long for the new body to be put to the test, in just his second competitive run of the year Matt Hagan suffered a boomer that would have probably destroyed the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Not having to replace a $50,000 funny car body is a very good thing for the car owner, not so much for the driver who had finish the run contending with Hell's own defroster. Whatever, Matt Hagan ain't care.
