Apparently these are EU specific Hot Wheels. I found them at Meijer here in Indiana. I'll probably pick up a few more as they are pretty cool. Any ideas on how they ended up here?

Edit: I should've specified that it's the short card, with international branding. The 2000GT is a fairly common model.

Sideways pictures are sideways. But I'm too lazy to rotate.

Which Meijer? I'm also in Indiana and wouldn't mind snagging one or two of these for friends.

The southside of Indianapolis, on Southport. They had quite a few.

Ahhh...Meijer, the alternative to WalMart.

It's a bit less white trash. At least the one by me. It's on it's way to being on par with WalMart, though.

I grew up in their Hometown. Always went there. Definitely not as trashy as WM.

I just picked one of those up last night at a Food For Less. Only one they had at that moment. I was a must buy

It happens from time to time. The car is not EU exclusive, it more of just a card thing. The short cards are international.

I saw that exact model in a Safeway grocery store two days ago. They also had quite a few strange models.

I've seen quite a few of the yellow 2000GTs out here in CA.

They used to call these "international" cards, when there were more than one language on the back. It's either that, or the cases got mis-shipped. My 2 cents...

Sorry to disappoint, but those are just generic supermarket short cards. You can find them in the checkstand lines of supermarkets all over the US (and presumably the rest of the world).

For some more info about how to decipher the language and codes on the back of the card, come visit us at LaLD!

These are not EU specific cards, but used anywhere except the US. They probably just packed the wrong cases into the container. Here in Australia, we get a mixture of both long and short cards - often in the same shop. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind who gets what and when.
