I had a Citroën CX with TRX wheels..
210/55 VR 390 if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not, but probably most people chucked them and replaced then with real wheels/tires.
Fun fact: they still make them, but they're like $600 *each* from Coker Tire
The most awesome Ferrari ever made, the Mondial, originally had TRX's, but the good news is that you can get these 16-inch wheels from the UK, so that you can use regular tires.

Well, yeah that is what I and my friends did. But how it actually happened it you got a flat or something and you went to the dealer and were told that the tire you thought was going to cost $80 in 1988 dollars will actually cost $150 and they don't have it in stock.
