But not a good one. 10.9 gallons over 63.4mi = 5.8mpg . I blame excessive 4wd use and idling time over the last week and a half. Also, screw you guys over on the mainland with your sub-two-dollar gas.

My personal best was 2, and that was when gas was $3.61. I remember that specific number, because that number didn't change for like 2 months.

Note that I only paid $2.49 with my discount . Regular price is $2.99, and that's the lowest it's been throughout this whole gas price drop.

it's $2.19 in Central Wisconsin. And with winter idling with work I'm at about 17mpg in the TinyTohruTruck.

Nope, a '95 4Runner on bad, good tread tires. I had to live a week in 4WD, and with that on top of it's high idle when cold, it nuked gas.

You finally got the brakes fixed then?

sort of. It still has braking on three wheels. It'll get mended proper this weekend, along with the Grand Am. The Grand Am is sold pending payment, but the roommate popped one of the rear lines on it. So I have to mend that.

Was about to say you're ballsy for owning a rotary, but then you mentioned 4wd...

It might not be a rotary but it sure drinks oil like one.

I have an 03 Civic for a winter beater/ daily beater. I recently managed 860 kms from a 48L fill up or 42.1 MPG or 5.58L/100kms..
