I'm a big fan of puppies in general, but two posts about the same off-topic subject on the same page while heavily off-topic discussion is being debated on that same page might not be the best idea.

That is the best mix, my family has always loved poodle/poodle mixes. We've had them for the last 4 decades.

Please don't? That's like telling the IRS "please don't" when they come to collect your stuff.

Same here, my moms first poodle was a black and silver miniature back in the 80s, his name was Sabastian and lived to 17:
Our new Puppy's name is Mazik. It means troublemaker in yiddish. Hes taking the place of Mel, our 10 year old miniature. We had to put him down last month, heres a pic of him:
Here's a better shot of Mazik:
He came with the name Gumby from the shelter but we changed it because we kept calling him Gumbo by mistake. Dogs arent cajun food

My mom's first was also a silver/black miniature called Toby, he lived to 16 and the saddest day of my life until now was the day he died. Mazik looks cute, gumbo is no name for a dog.

Saddest day of my life was putting Mel down. I was staring into his eyes as he went. He always knew how to tell you what he wanted and at that moment I knew he wanted to be free of his suffering. Mazik still growing and his legs are very long. He hasn't quite figured out how to sit down yet, his knees confuse him. They also gave him a weird haircut at the shelter, I think there was alot of guesswork. When we get him groomed we will probably shorten the hair on his tail and his beard a bit, maybe give him a poodle poof on his head.

Yeah, they can be a pain. Mine tried to chew my guitar stand. My dog also got in cahoots with my cat, as my cat knocked off my optimus prime figure, to which my dog started chewing on it, :/.

Kudos for adopting from a shelter.
