This man, Michael Paul Smith, is a model builder and photographer. He's built a 1:24 scale model of a town he calls Elgin Park, drawing inspiration from his childhood. The man had a troubled past, that he still struggles with, and this seems to be an outlet for it, and it is so creative, and seems quite therapeutic. He's got a book coming out of his works, but read the article and watch the video.

I've loved this kind of model work for a long time, and it's just awesome to see his work get some notoriety. If I had the dexterity and care in my fingers to do something like this, I certainly would. It's so awesome. Just check it out, and be on the lookout for hidden onion cutting.

great video. I have seen some of his images before, but it was cool getting to learn about the man behind the images. He is a very talented modeler.
