Just out of curiosity after hearing that you can search by the tag number for free. I've been kicking myself for forgetting to write down my Mustang's VIN... But if it is possible, can anyone look up PDI2001 (registered in Georgia in late 2012, early 2013) and tell me stuff about it?

But yeah, all I know is it was an '88, it had at least one former owner (who was a chain-smoking redneck named Crystal), and it probably hasn't been registered since I sold it because the new owner is restoring it for his then ten-year-old son.

They're building it together. I only got $800 for it (it needed a new starter at the time, and otherwise was barely scraping by) so I'm guessing it's going to be his present on his 16th birthday, and until then it'll be a nice father/son project.
And for the life of me, I can't find any build threads of it on any forums or anything. You have no idea how happy I would be to be able to watch their progress.

Do you have any insurance papers from when you had it? My insurance cards have my vin on it.

I suppose it's possible. I just want to check up on it every now and then to make sure it's still alive.
Also, I loved it enough that I'm almost certainly buying another after my Escort. It would be cool to get the same one if it happens to be for sale at that time.
