This boycott Cadillac asshole is legitimately making my head hurt. I can't even fathom the kind of stupidity is present there. I went to his Facebook, and his drones are even worse.

What's his issue?
![]() 02/01/2015 at 11:02 |

it didn't come with a spare tire
i'm 100% serious

His ATS had a blowout, had a fix a flat kit instead of a spare. And then when he had it taken to a dealership, they wanted him to buy new tires. Oh the horror!

While the way he's handling it is truly obnoxious, he has some legitimate gripes. Mostly just being told his car had run-flats when it actually didn't, and only discovering that miles down the road. Some people refuse to acknowledge that you almost always fare better when you handle things calmly and respectfully instead of like a baby with a shitty diaper.

Wonder how close to the edge he was pushed? Still, if the car wasn't sold as billed, there should be some sort of compensation.

Oh - Facebook link?

Cadillac doesn't list a spare tire as standard equipment. Its on the options list.

He also charges people $20/hour to teach people how to clip coupons.

If that were the case, then by all means.. pretty similar to the example Lehto covered in a post a few weeks back - The Case Car Dealers Don't Want You To Know About ..
I tend to think this is just a guy who was too full of himself to realize the car he was purchasing didn't have a spare tire. It's a strange concept to think about, but it's not as uncommon as he thinks. I highly doubt that his purchase would have hinged on whether or not there was a spare tire anyway.

That information came from his insurance company though, not from. Cadillac. And he didn't even try to inflate the tire with the kit.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of clipping coupons?

His followers aren't the type of normal citizens who figure that out. They're the type of idiota who buy things they never use just because they're on sale...

That would explain how the douchenozzle got a Cadillac.

Basically. He's the answer to a question nobody asked.

If they owe him run-flats, they should make some sort of accomodation, in my mind.

Back in the 80s, I got to know the service manager and assistant manager (later dated her) at the Mercedes dealership where I bought the '87 300D. And I was never an asshole. He did more than a few repairs that should not have been covered. Similarly, dealers should think about their reputation before refusing an accomodation, especially in this era of social media.

I think they're cogniscent of the impact social media can have these days, but there's something I really hate about people who wield that weapon making threats about what they'll do on social media if they don't get their way. That gets under my skin big time.

At best it should be a last resort. Remember this ? Finally, GM stepped in and did the right thing.

That's encouraging. Good to hear it worked out.

That is, however, somewhat different than having to replace tires that were different than advertised.
Ah, the days of the full-sized spare.
![]() 02/01/2015 at 14:01 |

Seriously. Full-size spare should not be something we see less and less.
![]() 02/01/2015 at 15:09 |

So basically we should boycott the majority of car companies now?
Everyone is moving away from spares

He is a complete and total loudmouth moron.

I clicked the link but didn't see the part where he ranted. But I will say that if he's in a "tire blowout" area, should have picked the spare tire option. Yes you know if the state you live in is a tire blowout area or not. Mine isn't.

He feels that Cadillac is too expensive to not have one. Basically he determines a cars value by its spare tire to car ratio.

LOL
What a moron

D-bag, he's just pissed BMW wouldn't take his coupons and he had to settle for an ATS.
