Don’t drive a 135i to Lowe’s and expect anything bigger than a hammer to fit in the car. You’ll end up calling your wife to pick you up. You’ll feel like an idiot.

...What about a hammer and some nails?

It can't be that bad, did you fold the seats down?

I feel your pain. Mirror wasn’t even 36” tall yet it wouldn’t fit unless I folded seats

I saw someone driving around in a 1 series with a Xmas tree shoved inside trunk end in the passenger seat and then went across the car and about 2 feet sticking out the rear driver window.

Do they not fold down all the way?

Is this like when Top Gear tried to get a rose trellis into a GTI?

I bought a 9-foot artificial Christmas tree a few days ago before I remembered I drive a Fiat. Fortunately the box is only a little over 6 feet but it was still a crowded drive home.

Well, that’s why they fold. Who needs a mirror and multiple passengers? I just brought home 2 newly framed movie posters in my C30. I like to think of it as a sporty business coupe like traveling salesmen used to drive.

I just barely squeezed new wheels into it not too long ago.
Love my car though
Won’t be getting rid of her for as long as possible

That’s awesome and good to know. They look great with that color. Here’s mine. I’ve had it a month and adore the heck out of it.

How do you like that 135, though? I love those cars.

Don’t know how I missed that post! Awesome car! Don’t see many early R Designs. 09 was the first year for it. I see you have the kinda rare 5 spokes!
I bought my car sight unseen from the Volvo dealer. It was a 2 owner ‘08 with only 42k miles. Car spent most all of its life in a garage.
Once I get a Polestar tune (still a ways off though) my big purchases will be done.

Love it. Totally worth not being able to haul stuff.

Yeah, and there is quite a bit of room with the seats down, but I bought some shelves that were too long. Like I said, I’m not a smart man.

Nope. Two trips.

I bet it was. My proudest transporting moment was fitting a door in a Versa hatch. That was an adventure.

I don’t remember how that one ended, but nothing caught on fire for me, so it wasn’t too bad.

They’re good looking wheels. Funny enough, someone about a mile from me has the exact same car. I never noticed it until I bought mine. Although, theirs doesn’t have a stick. Of course, I had to check. Mine also had 2 previous owners and it just crossed 33,000 miles. I was pretty thrilled to find it and it didn’t take much of a test drive to know I wanted it.
I’ve read some of your posts. You’re turning that into a really cool machine. A Polestar tune does sound like it would be the icing on the cake. I’m still getting to know mine, so I haven’t considered any mods, yet. Maybe something subtle one day. I took it canyon carving on Christmas and it really impressed me as is. I had heard people say it’s better as a GT, but it’ll do anything.
