Word of advice, don’t rely on cheap tires. The snowy load dropped over the past couple days or so made the PTC stuck on the way to work.

Kinja'd!!!

Swapping them to the rear helped a lot, Michelin Nordics in the front at the time of writing. easy to oversteer now, and I’m fine with that.

That winter in an ‘89 Eurosport with 205/70 snow tires on the front and 185/65 All-Seasons on the rears...

Was amazing!

funny fact, I got snow tires all round. Arctic claws are in the back, tread seems to resemble an all season tire with some more ridges.

When we got our “Snow” the other day one lady came into the office griping about how she couldn’t get out of the lot. (she claimed an hour and a half of “trying”) Our Snow guys hadn’t come out yet but nobody else had trouble leaving so I had to go check out the issue.

Long story short (I know.. Too late!) her tires were as bald as Kojack. Her leaving her car and getting a ride home probably saved a life.

You may have good tires. Does the car next to you?
