we met with one of the owners of the shop today. the original building was a small office attached to one bay. We’re renovating the entire building into office/waiting space and then adding a 2 bay service garage. They only sell/service used BMWS.

Gadamnit I miss drawing buildings. I miss teaching architecture. That's the only thing I don't like about my current job teaching middle school, no architecture.

this is one i’m working on, the whole thing is in sketchup right down to every toilet

Very cool!
I teach metal shop, wood shop, and CAD drafting. I’ve tried working it into the drafting portion of the classes, but I’ve found that it's just too advanced for all but the most advanced of middle schoolers. I only get 4-1/2 weeks in the drafting lab with them, so I simply try to teach them good basic drafting skills.
