Even if there’s a space in the middle, I prefer to get an end spot since it usually means one less moron to carelessly slam their doors into the side of my car. I had someone do that to me last week whilst I was in the car. I got out and inspected for damage, but of course there was no hint of an apology from the assmunch that thought that this was acceptable behaviour.
